Position Summary
The Timpanogos Arts Foundation is looking for someone to manage and coordinate our social media and website efforts. This role is in charge of managing our social media plans while delegating specific content creation roles to participants and leaders of each program. This role is also in charge of managing our email lists, gathering and organizing data of participants and audiences. This role is also in charge of updating our website regularly, keeping up to date with all upcoming events and using tools to maximize our Search Engine Optimization. We anticipate this role will require 20 hours of work each week.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Social Media:
- Manage all of our social media accounts, making sure our brand is consistent and posts are regular.
- Manage our Meta Ad accounts, maximizing ticket sales of ads while staying in a budget
- Implement the overarching vision while delegating specific tasks to members of each program
- Emails and CRM:
- Gather information from our events to consistently update our email software
- Start and implement a Customer Retention Management software with our available tools
- Send weekly emails as well as other emails to increase ticket sales and registrations
- Website Updates:
- Update our website with information provided by programs.
- Keep finger on the pulse of SEO (search engine optimization) trends to make sure our website is consistently receiving a lot of traffic for relevant events.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Communicate goals and projects with Executive Director.
- Troubleshoot problems and help create solutions using the digital tools.
- Represent the organization with professionalism and respect for all staff.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. 2-4 years of experience in a similar field preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in all google apps (drive, gmail, docs, etc.)
- Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities. Good teamwork skills, excellent delegation. Ability to pivot when plans change or desired results aren’t met.
- Flexibility: Ability to set and keep a consistent schedule with consistent hours each week. Ability to attend events, classes and rehearsals is preferred.
