What we offer the community
The mission of Timpanogos Youth Theater is to provide a safe, fun environment for children ages 5-18 to learn musical theater skills and to experience the magic of showcasing those skills on stage.
TimpYT performs 3 musicals a year, offers week-long mini musicals in the Summer, and theater classes throughout the school year. In the past, TimpYT has performed Footloose, Lion King Jr and Kids, Anastasia, Little Mermaid Jr, Finding Nemo Kids, High School Musical Jr, Newsies Jr., and Frozen Jr and Kids and many more!
TimpYT serves dozens of participants each year, offers volunteer opportunities in the community and provides quality performing arts experiences for those on stage and in the audience.

Timp Arts Youth Theatre is excited to announce auditions for Guys and Dolls Jr.!
Wednesday, September 16
6:00 PM–9:00 PM
Timp Arts Center
Please prepare 16–32 bars of a song in the style of the show. Please provide your own accompanist or a background track, a speaker will be available to connect to.
Before your audition, please complete your Casting Manager profile, including a headshot or current photo and all requested information.

Callbacks are by invitation only. Additional music, scenes, or dance material may be provided for callbacks.
Rehearsals
Regular rehearsals begin Thursday, September 24.
Thursdays: 4:30–6:30 PM
Select Saturdays:Â Times TBA
Beginning January 4, the cast will move into an everyday rehearsal schedule leading up to performances. A detailed rehearsal calendar will be provided.
Please disclose all known conflicts during the audition process. Because of the limited rehearsal schedule, attendance and availability will be important considerations when casting.
Performances
January 21, 22 & 23
Cast members must be available for all required tech rehearsals and performances.
Tuition
There is no fee to audition.
Students who are cast in the production will pay a $200 participation tuition.
Content & Participation Notice
This production includes stage combat and stage kissing/romantic staging. All such material will be rehearsed with appropriate direction, choreography, and safety practices.
